This fantastic internship is perfect for students who are currently studying conservation or zoology, or for anyone who is looking to gain practical experience within this field.

Colobus Conservation is based in the stunning beach resort town of Diani, a short drive from our very own Camp Muhaka where you will be based during your internship.

  • Cleaning and feeding the resident monkey cages
  • Caring for infants
  • Colobus feeding and home range ecology
  • Colobus census
  • Baboon home range analysis
  • Baboon feeding ecology specifically looking at use of artificial food stuffs (i.e. rubbish pits)
  • Enrichment in the primate enclosures
  • Hotel primate pest assessments

In addition, you will spend two weeks at our beautiful Camp Tsavo contributing to ongoing project initiatives, designed to enhance and improve lives within surrounding communities.
