Team Introduction

 

We started Camps International specifically with the aim of running expeditions for Schools. It’s not something we do on the side, it’s what we do best and we are well established as one of the main providers for school expeditions in UK.

 

We have an immaculate safety record and thousands of young people have had amazing experiences on our expeditions. We have also been awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge, a national accreditation for the provisions of educational visits. This award demonstrates that we have met or exceeded government guidelines for delivering high quality learning experiences and managing risk effectively.

 

At the centre of all our projects is our commitment to balancing the development of the team against our responsible travel ethos. We won 'Best Volunteering Organisation' in the World Responsible Travel Awards 2008 for our achievements in Africa & Asia and much of this is thanks to the efforts of the school teams that travelled with us.
