Malawi is known as the ‘warm heart of Africa’ due to its central location and gentle, friendly people. Malawi is a truly beautiful country made up of green rolling hills, mountains, sparkling lakes and diverse wildlife. You’ll see the amazing wildlife on safari in Liwonde National Park. Mount Mulanje is the highest point in Malawi and you’ll be taking the challenge to summit this mountain before enjoying some breathtaking views from the summit. The greatest challenge facing Malawi is poverty. Most people don’t have access to clean water, proper sanitation, health care or adequate educational facilities. Our community projects focus on improving the standard of living for the local people. You could be working on building classrooms, school desks or water tanks. In addition to our community projects you’ll also get stuck into our environment and wildlife projects, which tackle deforestation and pollution.
