The sun is shining – and it’s Friday! Wooooooooo!!

Ever thought it possible to raise 1/4 of your expedition cost in just 3 DAYS?!

Without further ado… CONGRATULATIONS VICKY!!!!!

My name is Vicky and I am travelling to Peru in the summer of 2016 with Camps International. I found out about this amazing and once in a lifetime opportunity through my school only a couple of weeks ago!

My fundraising so far for the final cost due May 2016 has been going incredibly well as I’ve only been doing it for 3 days!

On the first weekend of the school half term I organised and arranged to bag pack at a local supermarket for 5 hours (11am – 4pm) on the Tuesday, Thursday (12pm – 4pm) and the Saturday of half term.

On the Tuesday, with the help of my brother and mum, I managed to raise £221.99! Which was an impressive start to my fundraising!

On the Thursday, with the help of my mum, my friend Amy, and my younger sister, I raised a slightly less total of £157.86, however was still extremely happy with my progress!

On my final day of bag packing on the Saturday, I had managed to raise, with the help of Amy, my mum, my sister and my mum’s friend Michelle, a whopping £392.53!!

Bringing my total amount raised in the 14 hours we were at the supermarket to £772.38!!!!!

However, that isn’t my final total overall.

Over the last couple of weeks my mum and I have been increasing our creative skills via card making. On the Wednesday evening, again during half term, my sister and her friend sold a total of 11 cards at my mum’s weekly club. They sold them for £1.50 per card therefore raising £16.50 bringing the total amount fundraised to £788.88!

I have phoned multiple stores such as Sainsburys, The Range, Morrisons, Asda as well as hopefully returning to my local supermarket again in the near future.

On top of more bag packing, I am also planning on running a quiz night for my family and friends, as I already have many prizes for them to win in a raffle throughout the night!!

After my huge success of raising almost a quarter of my overall amount for the Peru expedition in 3 days, I feel like I should continue to bag pack to fundraise the rest of what is owed.
