Camp Kenya Sports Development 2020
Develop your sports coaching and leadership skills whilst inspiring young people through sport in rural Kenya on our Sports Development Expedition.
Sports education is virtually non-existent in Kenyan schools due to a lack of resources and time, so you will make a huge difference to the local children – and have an unforgettable summer doing what you love the most.
You’ll be involved in every aspect of sport development from establishing football pitches and netball/volleyball courts, to classroom theory sessions and practical sports coaching. The 3-week sports volunteer programme builds up to an inter- school tournament and community fun run for hundreds of local school students. There will be some very proud and unforgettable moments as you witness the progress of your teams and become an integral part of such a positive and powerful community event.
You’ll also get the chance to experience the magic of rural Kenya. Staying in our incredible Camp Tsavo, you’ll be immersed in the local culture, and you’ll get to experience a safari in Tsavo National Park to take in the unbelievable wildlife – the park is a haven for lions, elephants, giraffes to name a few.
